Food was pretty good. The service was fast. The decor could be better. Kind of an old look, overall cheap but the music was upbeat & happy.

A nice standard buffet. It's a solid 3.5 (rounded to a 4 but it's not 4/5 to me.) The food isn't always fresh if you go during the weekday. Since there's less customers at a given time, you really have to time when you go to make sure you don't get food that tastes a little old/lukewarm the minute it hits your plate. Usually the best time to go is when they first open or when the dinner pricing first hits. It's def better to go during the weekend in terms of having freshly made food since there's more people and more frequent food turnover. That said, Sunday around lunch can be super packed so be prepared to wait for a table. Funny enough my parents and older family members love it because there's not a lot of salt in some of the options. For me that reads as bland, but for them it's perfect. So I typically don't eat the same items as them and typically drown a lot of my food in sriracha. The staff are polite enough. Sometimes you'll get one with an attitude where they'll ignore you on purpose but that's usually during busy times. I've had the same staff member be nice on one visit and rude in the next. So it's probably not personal. I just tip accordingly.

Omgggg!!! I don't know why I been sleeping on a Charm City Buffett! The food here is amazing! Nice and fresh , full of flavor and the inside is so clean. The staff is very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the vast variety of options like classic Chinese food, hibachi grill, all the fresh seafood you want!!! (Crabs, shrimp all ways, oysters and more). The price is very reasonable and fair. I enjoyed my food so much I took a plate of home lol. I know where I am going when I need my fix of great Chinese food! Thank you Charm City!

Took the family for the first time and I was amazed that had everything you could ask for, from American food,Chinese food to seafood I mean all nationality this place is great if you don't know what to eat they have plenty options. The service was fast seating for it to be a buffet, and they were crowded. They made you feel welcomed and not rushed, the atmosphere was very comfortable, and the servers made sure we had everything we needed. Then you pay when you are finished eating, which was totally different than what I'm used to. Overall I was very pleased with this choice.

Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes (Turn and face the strange) We went back today, lunch hours, day off going into holidays. We were going to try an Indian buffet in Annapolis- but decided in the moment to give this place (in our previous stomping grounds) another run. It's a bit of a drive from Fort Meade - but I have to say we agree the trip was worth it. I do believe (other reviews hint) that there has been some change in management, if not also ownership. The decorations are a bit updated, the food offerings are a bit upgraded. Some of the processes are different- you pay at the table after you've eaten. In previous visits you paid first (lest you dine and dash I guess). The current way feels more civilized and in some ways heightens the quality of the food. There is a good blend of American standards, and plenty of traditional Asian influenced options. Not every item is a hit, and it rarely is in a buffet set up. This place has gone through some changes, it has evolved, it has lifted and fallen over the 15 years or so I have been aware of it. I am comfortable stating that it is back on an upswing. We will be back. p.s. the missus was looking quite "fly" today, she was getting compliments all over...I was and am always proud to be associated.

What can we say? I took my daughter and two grand-daughters to the Charm City Buffet mainly because of the excellent reviews that I read. It has changed hands and the new owners have really brought it back to life. The lunch price is $11.99 per person and $10.69 for seniors from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The dinner price is $16.99 per person and $14.99 for seniors. Drinks are $2.79. The restaurant is open and super clean. They had 5 different soups. There is a hibachi grill, where you can select your own ingredients. They offered about ten different sushi items. They offer all kinds of Chinese, American and Asian foods. They have rows and rows of freshly prepared food. They say they have over 100 items for your enjoyment. They cover everything from soup to nuts. There was something for everyone. I liked the buffet so much I wanted to take my husband and some friends. We came for lunch on a Friday. The restaurant was filling up when we arrived at noon. My husband and our friends were quite impressed by the variety of foods that was offered. Even if you do not like Asian and Chinese food, there is an abundance of American food to choose from - fried chicken, BBQ ribs, mac and cheese, French fries, and more. I especially liked the variety of freshly prepared sushi. What was odd was that they had 4 different kinds of soup, but they did not have Wonton Soup. I really wish they would add that to the soup menu. When you are looking at the food, the name of item is above it. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. You will not be disappointed here.

Every time I go (and I go more frequently than I'd like to admit) the service and quality is fairly consistent! The servers are always on top of their service and they are quick to greet you at your table and get your drinks. They also clear the plates as soon as possible and work very well together! I recently did learn that if you go on weekends, they serve "dinner" all day long therefore, you will be paying the dinner price which is not bad still for the different types of food you get. With that you do also get the typical dinner options all day long! ** I DO WISH that they would have the battered calamari in place of the crab..... I personally think less gets wasted (even though the crab is good) and I always saw the calamari got eaten so much quicker I believe the owner who I see there ALL the time is very friendly and tries his best to accommodate customers.. because I have seen some customers draw up some unnecessary attention from time to time. It does get packed on the weekends so make sure to time it and they do also provide tables for large parties!
